Taranjiet Singh Namdhari is a seasoned filmmaker with over two and a half decades of experience in the industry. He has worked on feature films, television shows, documentaries, and advertisements, bringing stories to life on both the big and small screens. Namdhari made his feature film directorial debut with the British Asian film “It Could Be You,” which was an official selection at the Osian’s International Film Festival in Delhi. His second film as a director, “The Great Indian Escape,” received critical acclaim upon its release in 2019 and is on the list of recommended films for students at the National Defence Academy in Pune.
Namdhari has also directed the opening sequences of popular TV series such as “Khatron Ke Khiladi,” “Bigg Boss,” and “Zor Ka Jhatka.” In 2011, he won the IDPA Best Editor Award for Corporate films, and in 2022 he won the Best Editor Award at the 48HFP Music Video Project in Mumbai. His music video “The Mumbai Dhanak” also won the Best Music Video Award and Audience Choice at the same event. With a diverse range of projects under his belt and several awards and accolades to his name, Namdhari continues to captivate audiences with his unique vision and storytelling abilities. This is his first book as an author.
