The survey conducted by leading research agency HANSA along with the WEEK magazine has ranked the University of Hyderabad (UoH) among the leading Universities in the country for the year 2013.

Week

UoH is ranked at 4th position among the Government as well as Private Universities in the country and is ranked at 1st position among the Universities in South India. This survey was earlier being done yearly from 2009 for Best Colleges and from this year the survey includes Best Universities too. The survey was carried out all over India in March-June, where more than 220 academic experts from 14 cities were consulted. A questionnaire was also sent to gather information from the universities.

Week2

The survey considered only those universities which offered at least one PG course in Humanities or Science or Commerce, and graduated at least five batches.
