Dr. Nagaraju Gundemeda, Associate Professor, Department of Sociology, School of Social Sciences, University of Hyderabad (UoH) had the opportunity of visiting South Africa and Singapore on academic work.
Dr. Nagaraju presented a paper titled Schooling the poor in urban India: A case of Hyderabad in the workshop titled Asian Urban Liveability in Practice: Researching, Collaborating, Publishing organized by the Department of Geography, National University of Singapore (NUS), Singapore in September 2013.
He also presented a paper titled The idea of a University: A case study of Central University in India in the workshop titled Contested Youth Identities in Higher Education: A Comparison between Two Universities in India and South Africa– organized by the Department of Sociology, University of Johannesburg, South Africa in November 2013.
