NSS volunteer, Mr. Praveen Kumar Yalala, from University of Hyderabad (UoH) has been selected for Republic Day Parade Camp-2015 to be held in New Delhi from 1st to 31st January, 2015.
Mr. Praveen is one out of the six selected for the camp from Telangana State. There will be a total of 200 NSS volunteers representing various states and Union Territories at the national camp. During their stay in the camp for the period of one month, there will be rigorous training, motivation classes and they will participate in Republic Day parade on 26th January, 2015. The UoH NSS Coordinator, Dr. Vasantha Srinivasa Rao, said that during the course of their stay, these NSS volunteers will meet the Hon’ble President of India, Vice-President, Prime Minister, and also the Hon’ble Governor, Chief Minister on their return in the state.
The Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Ramakrishna Ramaswamy, and the Pro Vice-Chancellor, Prof. E. Haribabu, appreciated and congratulated the NSS Coordinator, Dr. Vasantha Srinivasa Rao, and Mr. Praveen for representing the UoH to the prestigious National Camp.
