Professor Bandi Kamaiah, Dean and senior faculty member in the School of Economics, University of Hyderabad (UoH), has been elected as the president of The Indian Econometric Society (TIES) for the period 2016-2017.
The selection was made recently during the 52nd Annual Conference of TIES, held at the Indian Institute of Management Kozhikode. TIES was formed in the year 1960 and is one of the oldest and largest body of professional econometricians and quantitative economists with more than 2000 members from all over India and abroad.
