Priyanka Rachabattuni, a Ph.D. Research Scholar from Translation Studies, Centre for Applied Linguistics and Translation Studies, School of Humanities, University of Hyderabad (UoH) has got selected for two of the World’s best Summer Schools. She will be attending “IBN Tibbon Translation Studies Doctoral and Teacher Training Summer School” going to be held at University of Granada, Spain from June 22nd to July 4th ‘2017. Harvard University’s 7th edition “World Literature Program” is going to be held at University of Copenhagen, Denmark from July 4th to July 26th 2017.
IBN Tibbon Translation Studies Doctoral and Teacher Training Summer School is a joint initiative by 5 different universities (University of Ljubljana, Slovenia; Boğaziçi University, Turkey; University of Turku and University of Tampere, Finland; University of Granada, Spain) and focuses, in particular, on contemporary research into literary and non-literary works from a historical perspective. World’s Eminent Professors like Mona Baker, University of Manchester, UK Dr. Dorothy Kelly, University of Granada, Spain Dr. Kaisa Koskinen, University of Tampere, Finland Dr. Tamara Mikolič Južnič, University of Ljubljana, Slovenia etc. are participating in the workshop.
Harvard University’s 7th edition “World Literature Program” is organized by the Institute of World Literature. The Institute for World Literature (IWL) has been created to explore the study of literature in a globalizing world. World Leading literary figures in World Literature like Alexander Breecroft – University of South Carolina, Christian Dehl – University of Copenhagen, Thomas Claviez – University of Bern, David Damrosch – Harvard University etc. are participating and will offer seminars and lectures. Nearly 160 Participants are participating from more than 70 countries from across the globe.
