Dr Mazahar Moin, who has completed PhD under the supervision of Prof P B Kirti in the Department of Plant Sciences, School of Life Sciences, University of Hyderabad has been selected as INSPIRE-Faculty at Indian Institute of Rice Research (IIRR). This position which is equivalent to the Assistant Professor of IIT rank has been secured under the Assured Opportunity for Research Careers (AORC) scheme, sponsored by the Department of Science and Technology (DST), Ministry of Science and Technology.
Dr. Moin was awarded the young scientist award by the Andhra Pradesh Akademy of Science (APAS, 2017) for outstanding research contributions made during his PhD at University of Hyderabad.
