Jayadeep Madiraju, 4th year IMA Anthropology student, Mukulika Choudhury, 2nd Semester MA English student and Hadia Ahsan, 2nd year IMA Sociology student have been selected for paper presentation in the Fourth Student Conference of Project E-QUAL, which is funded by European Union and British Council is the leading partner. This conference will be held in Shiv Nadar University, Delhi from 9-10 March 2017.
While Jayadeep Madiraju is presenting on the topic “Exploring the impacts of Brain Drain Phenomenon: Case Study of India”,
Mukulika Choudhury will present her topic on “Investigating trends in University Press culture: Glitches in Indian scholarly publishing”.
Hadia Ahsan’s presentation is on “Censorship in Curriculum in Indian Education at High School Level”.
EU-India Project E-QUAL aims at developing quality in Indian Higher Education. University of Hyderabad is also an active partner of this project along with British Council India, Ambedkar University Delhi, Jadavpur University, King’s College London, Shiv Nadar University and University of Bologna. The objective of the project is to enhance the quality, access and governance of undergraduate education in India, through promotion of Indo-EU Higher Education partnerships and collaborations, which is in line with Government of India’s plan to provide greater access and improve quality of higher education in India.
