In connection with the State Championship Viksit Bharat event, Mr. G. Aravind Kumar, ID. No. 5270, Highly Skilled worker is appointed as the Team Coordinator for the 18 participants representing Telangana State at the Viksit Bharat Young Leadership Challenge, part of the National Youth Festival—2025. The challenge took place from January 10 to 12, 2025, at Bharat Mandap, New Delhi.

The Department of Youth Affairs, GoI has organized the Viksit Bharat Young Leaders Dialogue as part of the National Youth Festival 2025. Approximately 3,000 dynamic and motivated youth have been selected to participate through the Viksit Bharat Challenge across all the states of India, which employs a meticulously crafted, merit-based multi-level selection process.

This process aims to identify and showcase the most motivated young voices from across the nation with participants aged between 15 to 29 years.

The VBYLD team under the coordination of Mr. G. Aravind Kumar went to Delhi. On Day 1 i.e., on 10.01.2025, the Participants were taken to Bharat Mandap, New Delhi where they were given chance to present their ideas as PowerPoint presentations in the Young Leaders Dialogue Challenge.

The Department of Youth Affairs, led by the Union Minister of Youth Affairs & Sports and Labour & Employment, Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya, successfully inaugurated the Viksit Bharat Young Leaders Dialogue followed by a a motivating address by Secretary (Youth Affairs) Smt. Meeta Rajivlochan.

After the events, the participants were taken to the Pradhanmantri Sangrahalaya, a landmark dedicated to India’s rich history and governance, offering them a deeper understanding of the nation’s leadership journey.

Later, the participants met the Hon’ble Union Minister Shri G. Kishan Reddy, Minister of Coal and Mines, at the Vigyan Bhavan Annex. The Union Minister welcomed all the participants and congratulated them for being selected from the State of Telangana. The Union Minister interacted warmly with all the participants of Telangana and appraised them about various policies and schemes being implemented by the Hon’ble Prime Minister and had dinner with them.

Day 2 (i.e., on 11.01.2025) began with an inaugural session led by Union Minister Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya and Union Minister of State Smt. Raksha Khadse, along with other dignitaries from the Ministry. The Plenary Session featured distinguished personalities such as Mr. Anand Mahindra, Ms. Palki Sharma and so on. The participants were engaged in in-depth discussions on 10 key themes, where they were allowed to provide further inputs on their presentations which were guided by domain experts.

It was happy to say that among the participants representing Telangana State, Mr. Satvik has been selected in the top 10 for the theme “Building the Infrastructure for the Future” and Ms. Yelem Venkata Rachika, has been issued a special pass for being the top at the State level for the theme “Making India the Startup capital of the World”.

On the Final Day, Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has participated in the Viksit Bharat Young Leaders Dialogue 2025 at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi. Prime Minister engaged with 3,000 dynamic young leaders from across India. The final contestants have presented their PowerPoint presentation before the Hon’ble Prime Minister. The programme concluded with an inspirational speech by the Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi addressed to the young talented youth with advice to take risks, and step out of their comfort zones, as demonstrated by the participants of the Young Leaders Dialogue. He added that this mantra of life will propel them to new heights of success. He urged the youth to take these ideas to every corner of the country, connecting other young people in every district, village, and neighbourhood with the spirit of a developed India.

Concluding his address, the Prime Minister reiterated the commitment to make India a developed nation by 2047 and encouraged everyone to live and dedicate themselves to this resolution. VBYLD Telangana team returned to Hyderabad on 14.01.25.
