Mr. Venkata Sathyajith Kampati, M.Tech student in Integrated Circuit Technology (2019-2021), at “Center for Advanced Studies in Electronic Science & Technology (CASEST)”, School of Physics, University of Hyderabad has been selected for a fully-funded four-year Ph.D. program at the “Advance integrated Sensing lab (ADVISE)” group, Faculty of Engineering Technology, Katholieke Universiteit Leuven (KU Leuven), Belgium, with research scholarship.
Mr. Venkata Sathyajith Kampati has also been awarded the prestigious UGC- NET & JRF (June 2020) in Electronic Science. He has also successfully completed his internship at GlobalFoundries, Bangalore, as an Analog/RF circuit design intern for his master’s thesis project titled “Design layout automation for optimization of Analog/RF benchmark circuits” under the internal supervision of Prof. Guruswamy Rajaram, School of Physics, University of Hyderabad.
Whilst his Ph.D., Sathyajith Kampati will be working on developing “Advanced Radiation Tolerant CMOS Oscillators”, for high-energy physics experiments. The research group is a member of the CMS collaboration at CERN, Switzerland.
Sathyajith Kampati says that the time he got during the pandemic gave him a golden opportunity to strengthen his fundamentals and deepen his understanding of the subject, which helped him in his Internship and Ph.D. interviews.
