Ms. Vaishali Portel, a Ph.D. scholar at the Centre for Earth, Ocean, and Atmospheric Sciences (CEOAS), University of Hyderabad, was selected to present her research at the 22nd Annual Meeting of the Asia Oceania Geosciences Society (AOGS) 2025 held in Singapore.

Ms. Portel presented her paper titled “Impact of Solar Proton Events on the Polar MLT Region – A Long-Term Study”, which investigated the dynamics of the Mesosphere-Lower Thermosphere (MLT) during multiple solar proton events using meteor radar observations.

Her participation in the conference provided valuable academic interactions with researchers and professionals, broadening her research perspective and opening avenues for future collaboration. The presentation received constructive feedback from domain experts, enriching her work.
