The School of Computer and Information Sciences (SICS),University of Hyderabad (UoH) and Deakin University-Australia jointly organized a workshop on Internet of Things (IoT) and LiDAR (Light Detection and Ranging) Technologies for Healthcare Applications focused on the intersection of emerging technologies and healthcare innovations.
The workshop was sponsored by Scheme for Promotion of Academic and Research Collaboration (SPARC) Project(2354):IoT based Sensor Analytics to Enhance the Quality of Life for elderly population.
A total of 120 participants, including students and faculty, explored how IoT and LiDAR can enhance patient care, diagnostics, and operational efficiency in healthcare settings. Participants also gained hands-on experience in collecting and processing LiDAR sensor data.
