Award to be received on 27th September 2013 in Boston, USA
Dr. Rajadurai Chandrasekar, Associate Professor, School of Chemistry, University of Hyderabad (UoH) has been selected for the prestigious YIM Young Scientist Award and Award Lecture for the year 2013.
Young Investigator Meeting (YIM) Boston initiated “The YIM–‐Boston Young Scientist Award” for outstanding achievements in science and technology. Dr. Chandrasekar has been nominated for this year’s award based on his accomplishments in the field of Inorganic and Materials Chemistry. The jury took note of his contributions through more than 40 peer reviewed research articles and patents in this field of research which has allowed advancing the field to a newer level. The jury has also acknowledged Dr. Chandrasekar’s contribution in molecular understanding of nano and micro solids.
Dr. Chandrasekar will receive the award at the 5th Annual Young Investigator Meeting – Boston USA, to be held at MIT on 27th September 2013. The award is preceded by a 15 minute plenary talk where Dr. Chandrasekar will share his research work and also his experience as a scientist in India.
