Devina Sarwatay, Senior Research Fellow (UGC-NET) and Ph.D. Scholar under the guidance of Prof. Usha Raman at the Department of Communication, University of Hyderabad has published a chapter in the Handbook of Media Education Research by Wiley-Blackwell.

Devina’s work on ‘Young People’s Meme Cultures in India’ has been featured in ‘Part 1: Global Youth Cultures’ edited by section head, Dr. Stuart R. Poyntz, Simon Fraser University, Canada. Other volume editors are Prof. Divina Frau-Meigs, Université Sorbonne Nouvelle, France; Prof. Sirkku Kotilainen, Tampere University, Finland; Prof. Manish Pathak-Shelat, MICA, India; and Dr. Michael Hoechsmann, Lakehead University, Canada.

The Handbook was launched in the International Association for Media and Communication Research (IAMCR) 2020 Conference that was held online due to COVID-19 restrictions.
