Dr. Sarvani Jowhar Khanam, who has recently been awarded the PhD doctorate degree under the supervision of Prof. Murali Banavoth, School of Chemistry, University of Hyderabad (UoH) has been conferred with the ‘Young Scientist Award’ from Maulana Azad National Urdu University (MANUU) at the 2nd International Conference in Chemistry (2nd ICC-2025) under the theme “Innovation in Chemical Sciences for Sustainable Development” on January 30–31, 2025.
The event attracted 255 participants from across the globe, including delegates from different states of India, Saudi Arabia, Malaysia, Sudan, Qatar, China, Singapore, South Africa, Egypt, Nepal, and Bangladesh. A remarkable number of 224 research papers were presented. The Young Scientist Awards were awarded to Mr. Suhail Ahmad, Dr. Sarvani Jowhar Khanam, and Ms. Saman Zehra.
Dr Khanam has extensively researched the perovskite single crystal-based devices. Dr. Khanam has published more than 12 peer-reviewed international journals of high standard besides attending several international conferences.
