A 100 feet High Mast for National Flag was today inaugurated near the main gate of the University of Hyderabad (UoH). A 30 feet National Flag flies atop the High mast that has been built at a cost of approximately Rs:10Lakhs.
Prof. Appa Rao Podile, Vice-Chancellor inaugurated the High Mast after the Republic Day celebrations on the campus. The National Flag was hoisted in the presence of Prof. P Prakash Babu, Pro Vice-Chancellor 2; Shri P Sardar Singh, Registrar and other officials, faculty, students and invited guests.
The function ended with the rendition of National Anthem.
