Our University has been placed in the top 100 in the world, with its achievements, in the first 50 years. It is a matter of pride for us. However, it is an enviable situation for the other institutions set up in the past 50 years that are competing with us for such a recognition”. “There should be no room for complacency with such distinctions conferred on us. We rather need to further consolidate and should put in efforts to give one push from here to match with the best of the institutions in India and abroad, he added.
Further Prof. Appa Rao added, “To increase the efficiency and also to improve transparency in our work, our University has started developing e-governance modules that will be added one by one. A unique in-house model is adopted and moving forward with lots of expectations. First part of it was the basic module on student life cycle”. “We will be the leaders among the Central Universities if we complete and operate our system through e-governance. Let all of us work together to make sure that we will make adjustments when required in the process of development and implementation of this project”, he appealed to all University fraternity.
