The Software Engineering Lab of the School of Computer and Information Sciences has organized a virtual Prototype Demo Exhibition “Archetype 2021” on 7th August 2021. The event organized in collaboration with UoH-Institutional Innovation Council and Technology Enabling Centre. Prof. Chakravarthy Bhagvati, Dean School of Computer & Information Sciences and Prof. Arun Agarwal, President UoH- Institutional Innovation Council inaugurated the event.

The exhibition was witnessed by virtual presence of participant’s from University, Industry and other Academic Institutions. A total of 11 prototypes pertaining to current challenges and needs of the society were exhibited. These projects were mentored by Prof. Salman Abdul Moiz, School of Computer and Information Sciences, University of Hyderabad. The idea of Archetype was appreciated by participants. It was decided to scale it up in the coming years. It may be noted that first Archetype event was conducted in 2019. The ideas presented were appreciated and suggestions are given to take it forward. It was suggested to conduct the Archetype event regularly each year by involving more and more labs.
