Dipanjan Banerjee, PMRF fellow, Ph. D student, under the supervision of Prof. Venugopal Rao Soma, at ACRHEM, School of Physics, University of Hyderabad (UoH), has been selected among the top 100 candidates worldwide, to attend the Student Leadership Conference (SLC), Optica Annual Meeting and Frontiers in Optics (FIO) conference organized by Optica (formerly Optical Society of America OSA).

This will be held during October 15-20, 2022 at the Joseph A. Floreano Rochester Riverside Convention Center in Rochester, New York, USA. He will participate in the Optica SLC training programme, workshops and networking activities focused on professional and career development, along with presenting his research work there. Optica will sponsor the complete expenditure of conference registration, round-trip and accommodation for the selected candidates.
