Feba Francis, a Ph.D. student at the Centre for Earth, Ocean and Atmospheric Sciences, University of Hyderabad work under the supervision of Prof. K Ashok, has been elected as a Regional Representative for South and East Asia in the YESS Community (Young Earth System Scientists) for 2020-21. The community is an Early-career Researcher initiative by the United Nations World Meteorological Organisation.
