Md Zainul Ali, a PhD Scholar at the Department of Biotechnology and Bioinformatics, School of Life Sciences, University of Hyderabad (UoH) doing research under the guidance of Dr. Pankaj Singh Dholaniya, recently presented a poster presentation as part of his doctoral research.

The presentation, titled “Gender-Specific Classification Models for Parkinson’s Disease Using Non-Motor Symptoms and DNA Methylation Data,” showcased a significant portion of his research.

This conference, known as, the International Congress of Parkinson’s Disease and Movement Disorders, which is undoubtedly the largest conference dedicated to Parkinson’s Disease. The event brought together over 5,000 scientists from more than 100 countries. Held in Copenhagen, Denmark, the conference spanned from August 27 to August 31, 2023.

It’s worth noting that Md Zainul Ali’s travel expenses for this conference were generously funded by the Institution of Eminence (IoE) at the University of Hyderabad.
