Thirty international delegates focusing on recent trends in development of entrepreneurship in India had visited University of Hyderabad to learn about the Innovation and Entrepreneurship related activities. The team had an interaction with University authorities and learnt about the development activities at UoH for promotion of innovation and entrepreneurship. These delegates are undergoing 3-month training program Promotion and Development of MSMEs at National Institute for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (ni-MSME), Hyderabad
Prof. Appa Rao, Vice-Chancellor briefed the team about University, achievements and initiatives taken by the university in innovation ecosystem. Prof. G.S. Prasad, Director, TIE-U has briefed the team about the overall structure of TIE-U and Entrepreneurship activities at UoH, followed by presentations faculty coordinators of Technology Business Incubator (TBI), Technology incubation and Development of Entrepreneurship (TIDE) and BioNEST bio incubator. The team has visited the incubation centers and they learnt the incubation activities and other entrepreneurial related activities at UoH. Prof. Reddanna, Prof. Lalitha Guruprasad, Prof Rajaram, Prof. Naresh K Sharma, Dr. Sreedhar, Dr. Ramakrishna, Dr. Anil K Reddy from UoH participated in the meeting and interacted with the visitors. The visting team was accompanied by faculty member Mr. Vivek Kumar from ni-MSME.
