Neeraja Sundaram’s book English Romantic Literature has just been published in Orient BlackSwan’s Literary Contexts. The series editor is Pramod K Nayar of the Department of English at University of Hyderabad (UoH).

Sundaram teaches at the School of Arts and Sciences, Azim Premji University, Bengaluru, and is an alumna of UoH having completed her MA, MPhil and PhD from the Department of English, UoH in the years 2005-13.

The series has thus far published 7 volumes, each of which provides an extensive survey of contexts – social, economic, political – to the various ages in Anglo-American Literature. It is one of the most successful literary studies series in Indian academia today. The titles in the series include Shakespeare (by Anna Kurian), American Literature (by Nandana Dutta), Victorian Literature (by Pradipta Borgohain), Modern British Literature (by Sipra Mukherjee), Postcolonial Literature (by Parama Sarkar) and Postmodern Literature (by Avishek Parui).
