Nanyang Technological University Innovation Centre Singapore represented by Dr. Lim Jui, Chief Executive Officer, NTU Innovation Centre; Jenny Hallen-Hedberg, Director, Office of International Affairs; Inderjit Singh Dhaliwal, Member, Board of Trustees of NTU; Brenda Ng, Assistant Manager, Enterprise Development of NTU Innovation Centre accompanied by Dr Anand Govindaluri, Managing Director & CEO of Govin Capital PTE LTD visited the University of Hyderabad (UoH) on 23rd May 2018.
Prof P Prakash Babu, Pro Vice-Chancellor of UoH welcomed the delegates and held discussions along with the officials of the Technology Industrial Liaison and Entrepreneurship Unit i.e. TIE-U (Technology Innovation for Development of Entrepreneurship (TIDE), Technology Business Incubator (TBI) and BioNEST Incubation Centre) based in the university. The officials of UoH represented by Prof. G Rajaram & Prof. Naresh Kumar Sharma of TIDE-UoH; Prof. Lalitha Guruprasad of TBI; Prof. P Reddanna and Dr. Sreedhara Voleti of BioNEST and Prof G S Prasad, Director of TIE-U and Dr. D Yogeshwara Rao, Visiting Professor in Life Science gave details of the activities and infrastructure facilities operating on the campus.
Dr. Lim Jui gave a brief presentation on the achievements of the NTU Innovation Centre and the team later visited the BioNest facility located within the School of Life Sciences. The delegation expressed their desire to establish linkages with incubation centres at UoH and innovation centre at NTU for mutual benefit and promoting innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystem.
