Miss Oisikha Chakraborty alumnus of the M.A (Financial Economics) – (2020-2022) from the School of Economics, University of Hyderabad, has received a full-time studentship to undertake a one-year MRes in Economics followed by a three-year PhD in Economics at the University of Surrey, UK. As a part of her M.A she carried out research titled “Indexing Gender Gap in Financial Inclusion” under the supervision of Prof Debashish Acharya.
University of Surrey is a public research university in Guildford, Surrey, England. The university received its royal charter in 1966. It was Ranked in the UK’s top 10 for world-leading research in the Research Excellence Framework (REF) 2021.
Miss Oisikha Chakraborty had also received the prestigious French government’s “France Excellence Eiffel scholarship”.
