The research paper by Prema Kumar Govindaswamy, a Ph.D. student working under the supervision of Dr. Vijay Shankar P. and Prof. M. Ghanashyam Krishna at Centre for Advanced Studies in Electronics Science and Technology (CASEST), University of Hyderabad has been accepted for lecture presentation at prestigious 21st IEEE Interregional NEWCAS Conference, to be held in Edinburgh, Scotland from June 26-28, 2023.
The paper titled ” High-Swing, Power-Efficient, Current-Mode Hybrid Circuit Topologies for Simultaneous Bidirectional Communication” proposes energy-efficient current-mode hybrid circuit topologies for full-duplex chip-to-chip communication in 1.2 V, 65 nm CMOS technology. The proposed work operates at a 10-Gb/s full-duplex data rate over 20-cm FR4 PCB interconnect. This work has significant impact on the emerging high-speed wireline serial interface circuit applications such as storage, networking and computing.
