All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE) is periodically organizing Technical Leadership & Management Training workshops in collaboration with British Council U.K as part of the UK-India Education and Research Initiative (UKIERI) program. The objective is to impart training on leadership and management to the mid and senior level faculty members of Technical Educational Institutes. This year, AICTE is conducting the workshop at 8 different places during November 23-26th 2021, across the country with 20 participants in each workshop. Prof Samrat L. Sabat, Centre for Advanced Studies in Electronics Science and Technology (CASEST) has been invited to organize this programme at University of Hyderabad. The training is being imparted by the master trainers, including Prof Samrat L. Sabat.
Twenty participants selected by the AICTE are being trained by the Master trainers in various aspects of Leadership and Management including challenges in Technical education, Motivational theories, Leadership approaches, Change management theory. The workshop was inaugurated by the Honourable Vice Chancellor, Prof B.J.Rao. He addressed the participants on the importance of innovations in leadership and stressed the need for stronger interaction between University of Hyderabad and AICTE. Prof M. Ghanashyam Krishna, Head, CASEST and Prof C. Bhagvati Dean, School of Computer and Information Sciences also spoke on the occasion. Dr. P. Patil, SCRO – AICTE Hyderabad briefed the participants about the AICTE objectives in organising such activities. Prof Samrat L. Sabat, workshop coordinator, welcomed the participants & guests and delivered the vote of Thanks.
