The University of Hyderabad Campus School has celebrated children’s day on November 14, 2013. at DST auditorium
The celebrations commenced with a prayer “GURU BRAMA GURU VISHNU”. Later Pro Vice-Chancellor, Prof. E. Haribabu, Smt. Prabha Sudanandana Chief Guest for the day and the school principal Shri Jagadheeswarachari, garlanded the picture of former prime minister Shri Jawaharlal Nehru
It was a pleasure for the audients to see the tiny tots of the UoH Campus School singing, dancing and enacting the popular freedom fighters on the stage under the guidance of school teachers. It was nostalgic to see children of UKG, giving lectures in Hindi, English and Telugu. The parents of these children were seen clapping and cheering their wards.
Smt. Prabha Sunandana, a former teacher of the campus school was the chief guest and in her message asked the parents and teachers to instill good ideals among the young students which will help them to study well and respect elders in the society.
Prof. E. Haribabu, Pro Vice-Chancellor, who presided over the celebrations told the teachers and parents to guide the students to study well which will help them to choose a good career.
The progamme came to an end with prize distribution for the meritorious students by the chief guest.
