The School of Management Studies (SMS), University of Hyderabad (UoH) is organising a two-day fest called UNNATI on 14-15 March 2014. The structured, rigorous and discipline based approach to business education transforms the students into confident executives to face the toughest challenges. In this endeavour, the School encourages the students to conduct UNNATI, an annual management meet, where not only the organizing ability of the students of SMS are showcased but also the talent of the students from the other schools is also put to test.
The inaugural session of the two-day management meet was presided by Prof. Ramakrishna Ramaswamy, Vice-Chancellor, UoH. Prof. V Sita, Dean, SMS gave the welcome. Ms. PVL Pavani and Ms. Divya Reddy, student coordinators of UNNATI gave an overview of the Event. The inaugural address was delivered by Mr. Feroze Mohammad, Managing Director, Hitachi Consulting Limited.
The various formal events across management domain and fun filled, exiting informal events are part of the two-day management meet. Some of the events include Marketeur, The Marketing event, Finanzen, The Finance event, Maneuver,The HR event, Optimizer,The Operations event and Neo, The Young Manager. All the events are designed to bring out the skills of the participants in all functional areas of Management. In addition there are informal events like JAM, Bomb Squad, Brain Storm, Photography, Dedications, Slow bike riding, Tattooing etc.
The SMS was established in 1999 and it offers a two year full time MBA, MBA (Health care and Hospital Management) and a PhD program in Management.
