The team represented by seven students of the MCA II year of School of Computer & Information Sciences of the University of Hyderabad (UoH) were the Overall Champions in the recently concluded symposium LOGIN 2014. The event organized by the PSG College of Technology, Coimbatore was held on 13th and 14th of September 2014. UoH participated and won maximum number of events (Finalist in 11 out of total of 12 events).
The students who participated in LOGIN 2014 from UoH are Koustav Maitra, Sanjiv Narayan Upadhyay, Mubarak P, Birender Singh, Uday Kumar, Krishna Kumar Vishwakarma, and Ashish Bansal.
Post-Graduate students from 44 Universities and colleges across the country and from abroad (University of Luxembourg, National University of Singapore and University of Greenwich) took part in this meet at Coimbatore. The two day symposium was an amalgamation of events that refine, recognize and reward people. LOGIN strives to create an environment conducive for students to interact with professionals from the industry in an effort to build a bridge between technology and the society and also thereby help bridge the gap between the academia and the industry.
