UoH Ph.D. Scholar to present a paper at RMIT University, Australia

Mr. Johny Varghese, Ph.D. Scholar in School of Engineering Sciences and Technology, University of Hyderabad (UoH) has been invited to present a paper “Strain rate sensitivity and mechanical properties of friction stir welded IN-RAFM steels of thicker sections” at the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology, Australia (RMIT University). He will present the paper in the “13th International Conference on the Mechanical Behaviour of Materials (ICM-13)” being organized by the RMIT University from 11-14 June 2019. Johny Varghese received financial support from the Department of Atomic Energy-Board of Research in Nuclear Sciences (DAE-BRNS), Govt. of India to attend this conference.

Johny Varghese is currently carrying out his doctoral work on “Friction Stir Welding of Reduced Activation Ferritic-Martensitic Steels (RAFM) of thicker sections and its associated mechanical properties” under the guidance of Dr. Koteswararao V. Rajulapati.
