Mr. Gowd Kiran Kumar, who is pursuing PhD under Prof. I. Ramabrahmam in the Department of Political Science, School of Social Sciences, University of Hyderabad (UoH) has presented two papers in the International Conference on Public Policy (ICPP) conducted by International Public Policy Association (IPPA) held at Montreal, Canada between 26th-28th June 2019.
The first paper titled “Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and Global South: India’s Role in Achieving Global Goals” has presented in the panel “Development at the Crossroad: What Really Matters for Sustainable Progress?” Chaired by Prof. Heike Grimm, Willy Brandt School of Public Policy, Erfurt, Germany and the second paper titled “Network Governance, Aadhaar and Public Service Delivery: A Comparative Study” in the panel “Policy Networks” Chaired by Prof. Dmitry Zaytsev, Higher School of Economics, Russia.
Around 1200 academicians, policy makers, bureaucrats and young scholars across the world have participated and discussed various themes in the areas of Public Policy. This is Kiran Kumar’s second participation in the IPPA conference, last time the conference was held at Singapore in 2017. He received prestigious IPPA grant for presenting the papers. He also attended two pre-conference sessions on “Global Policy Design” and “Global Policy and Transnational Administration”.
