Mr. Shaikshavali Petnikota, a PhD student from the School of Engineering Sciences and Technology (SEST), University of Hyderabad (UoH) and working under the guidance of Dr. Srikanth has been selected for the Excellent Poster Award for P06: CO2 Derived Few-layered Graphene as a Superior Anode Material for Li Ion Batteries.
Recently Shaikshavali presented one oral and one poster presentation at the Second International Conference of Young Researchers on Advanced Materials IUMRS-ICYRAM 2014, Haikou, Hainan, China as a student of UoH. (http://www.icyram2014.org/en/). He received the Excellent Poster Award out of more than 300 participants. An amount of Rs. 5000/- was also given. Mr. Naresh Kumar Rotte (Ph.D. student from SEST) has also equally contributed to this poster work.
Currently Shaikshavali is pursuing research work related to Lithium Ion Batteries at Advanced Batteries Lab, Physics department, National University of Singapore as part of exchange studies program. He can be reached on email: shasha.0786@gmail.co.
