Jayadeep Madiraju, 4th year Integrated Master’s in Arts (IMA) Anthropology student at the University of Hyderabad (UoH) has been selected for paper presentation in the Third Student Conference of Project E-QUAL, which is funded by European Union and British Council is the leading partner. This conference is being held in Jadavpur University, Kolkata from 14 to 15 July, 2016.

His topic for the presentation is “Need for the coexistence of institutional knowledge and heritage knowledge”. In his presentation Jayadeep will focus on the Indian Heritage with a broad research and few case studies. Having joined UoH in 2013, he has been actively participating in many activities.

Project E-QUAL aims at developing quality in Indian Higher Education. The University of Hyderabad is also an active partner of this project along with British Council, Ambedkar University, Delhi, Jadavpur University, King’s College, London, Shiv Nadar University and University of Bologna. The objective of the project is to enhance the quality, access and governance of undergraduate education in India, through promotion of Indo-EU Higher Education partnerships and collaborations, which is in line with Government of India’s plan to provide greater access and improve quality of higher education in India.
