Mr Rindon Kundu, an alumnus of the University of Hyderabad, is
awarded the Volkswagen Stiftung 2021 Grant for presenting research on
“North and South: Forms of Inequality within International Politics of
Scientific Production” at Volkswagen Stiftung Symposium, Hannover,
Germany. He did his MPhil in Translation Studies under the supervision
and guidance of Professor Shivarama Padikkal in the Centre for Applied
Linguistics and Translation Studies (CALTS, 2012-2014); he had also
worked as UGC MRP Fellow at SN School of Performing Arts and
Communication under Professor Satyabrata Rout in 2014.
Mr Rindon Kundu is presently working as an Assistant Professor,
Faculty of Arts, Communication and Indic Studies, Sri Sri University,
Odisha. He is also the founder-director of the Sri Sri Centre for
Translation and Interpreting Studies, the first such centre in India.
