We are thrilled to announce that Dr. Krishnasri Padamandala, a proud alumna of the School of Medical Sciences, University of Hyderabad (UoH) has received the Best Paper Award at the AIOS 2025 & 40th Asia-Pacific Academy of Ophthalmology (APAO) Congress.

Dr. Padamandala’s paper, “Quality of life of Retinoblastoma survivors in tertiary care eye hospital in South India,” published in the Indian Journal of Ophthalmology (IJO), has been recognized for its outstanding contribution to the field of ophthalmology.
Academic Achievements
Dr. Padamandala completed her PhD under the guidance of esteemed faculty members, including Prof. Geeta K Vemuganti, Dr. Durga M Surya Prasad, and Dr. Santosh Honavar. She is currently serving as Assistant Professor in the Department of Optometry at Chandigarh University, where she leads Research and Development initiatives and serves as PhD Coordinator.
