The Incubators at The University of Hyderabad (TBI/TIDE) in association with The Entrepreneur Zone (TEZ) rolled out their 5th batch of budding entrepreneurs and startups in the Certification Awards of their Accelerator Program on “Entrepreneurship Development”. Dr. Nandita Sethi, MD, TEZ spoke about the Entrepreneurship Program and UoH and their outreach to colleges and universities in spreading entrepreneurship training. She introduced the 29 startups that have successfully launched through it.

Prof Rajaram, coordinator TIDE, spoke about the role of the Incubators at UoH, in facilitating high-end innovation by facilitating research in startups.

Star Entrepreneur Talks were organised on the occasion where well known entrepreneurs spoke on different aspects of Entrepreneurship. Dr. Radha Rangarajan, Founder & CEO, Vitas Pharma, spoke about the small vital steps in any entrepreneurial journey and how its important for startups to have passion, pragmatism and adaptability to start and sustain themselves. Mr. Rakesh Bhatia, Managing Partner, Beyond Strategy & mentor/coach, told startups that investors while funding, not only look at a great idea but also the team dynamics to take that idea forward. Mr. Sudhakar Valiv, CEO, Precitech India Pvt Ltd. spoke of the varied challenges that entrepreneurs face and some measures they need to take to overcome these.

The program ended with a few Alumni Founders speaking about their Startups that they launched through this program. The program brought out the relevance of mentoring/training and industry-academia interface in starting and sustaining new ventures. Col B S Rao, Director Strategy TEZ, proposed the vote of thanks.
