Prof. Pramod K Nayar, faculty in the Department of English, School of Humanities at University of Hyderabad (UoH) has been nominated to the Advisory Board of the Linnaeus University Centre for Concurrences in Colonial and Postcolonial Studies, Sweden. An interdisciplinary Centre, it brings together faculty, researchers and students from Archaeology, Comparative Literature, English Literature, French Literature, History, the Study of Religions, Social Work, and Sociology. Work at the Centre is organized around the following research clusters:  the Cluster for Colonial Connections and Comparisons, the Cluster for migration, citizenship, and belonging, and the Aesthetics of Empire Research Cluster. The Centre hosted in 2012-2020, a cluster on Nordic Colonialism as well.

The high-profile interdisciplinary Advisory Board includes, among others, the anthropologist Professor Ann Stoler and environmental humanities specialist, Professor Elizabeth DeLoughrey.
