The research focused on the critical intersection of environmental psychology and health behavior, particularly within India’s adolescent population, which makes up nearly 21% of the country. Notably, the findings revealed that futuristic well-being partially mediates the relationship between ecological perspectives and health-conscious behaviours, highlighting its pivotal role in strengthening health-oriented actions driven by pro-environmental attitudes. The study underscored the importance of fostering an Ecological Paradigm alongside futuristic well-being, which can further encourage adolescents to integrate ecological responsibility with personal well-being, paving the way for a generation committed to sustainability and health.
Ms. Risvana sincerely acknowledges the support of the Institution of Eminence (IoE), University of Hyderabad, for funding her participation in the conference.
