Ms. Amita Samal, PhD Scholar working under the supervision of Dr Varalakshmi Manchana, Associate Professor, School of Medical Sciences received the best paper award for her oral presentation from PhD thesis on ‘Nexus of Physical and Social health with Happiness and Cognition in Aging Population’ at the International Conference on Medical and Health Sciences held at Bangkok on 29th December 2024.
In the same conference, Dr Varalakshmi Manchana delivered a Keynote address highlighting her work from her IoE research project on ‘Burden of Falls and Cost of Falls among Community dwelling older adults from Telangana and the public health concern of falls and its prevention for healthy ageing’.
Both Dr Varalakshmi Manchana and Amita Samal thanked IoE for support in being part of the conference at Bangkok.
