The first CT Indra Prize in the Department of English, in the form of a cash prize to the tune of Rs. 9000/- was awarded to Ms. Kanu Priya, a student with the highest Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) in the MA 2016 batch.
Professor CT Indra retired from Madras University and has been a friend of the Department of English for many years now.
