Dr. Murali Banavoth, Assistant Professor, School of Chemistry, University of Hyderabad received the Prestigious Young Career Award from the DST Nano Mission Patron Bharat Ratna Prof. C. N. R Rao FRS and Co-Patron Prof. Sabu Thomas at Mahatma Gandhi University Kottayam, Kerala during the Nano India- 2019 biennial conference.
DST Nano Mission recognizes the pioneering work of Dr. Banavoth in the field of hybrid functional materials and his contribution to third generation Cu (In, Al) Se2-CIAS Solar Cells, where he has bridged the academic and industrial sectors by delivering the higher efficiency stable photovoltaic technology at a much lower cost than existing in the global market.
