The University of Hyderabad (UoH) has achieved a record-breaking placement season for 2024-25, with 550 students placed across 180 top organizations. The highest annual package touched ₹46 lakhs, more than doubling last year’s highest offer of ₹17.89 LPA.

– Select notable recruiters include Tata Consultancy Services, Deloitte, Oracle, Teradata, Intel, Lloyds, ServiceNow, Micron , Pegasystems, Exim Bank, Accenture, Novartis, General Electric, ICICI Bank, Federal Bank, RSM, Joyalukkas, Blaize, Metric4 Analytics, Synchrony Financial, S&P Global, Progress, DPS, Sankara Eye Foundation, Transgraph, Azim Premji Foundation, and various educational institutions like Sri Prakash Institute, Paramita School, Jeevana Vikasa Vidya Vanam, Aakash Institute, etc., to name a few. Prof. Chetan Srivastava, Chairman of the Placement Guidance Advisory Bureau (PGAB), congratulated all the placed students in the current placement season 2024-25. The placement team, at PGAB, the Faculty and Student Placement Coordinators have given their best to ensure that the University has the best recruiters visiting the Campus and selecting our students. The Placement team has ensured outstanding results, by expanding our outreach to placement agencies and our alumni network to maximize opportunities.”

Prof. Chetan Srivastava, reposed his faith in the students placed and the alumni who will carry forward the UoH brand across industries.” He also thanked the Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor, Prof. BJ Rao, Registrar, Dr. Devesh Nigam, Mr. Ashish Jacob Thomas, Public Relations Officer and the University Administration for all the support in ensuring the smooth placement process.

Mrs. Prerna Akhouri, Training and Placement Coordinator, highlighted the digital shift in recruitment practices and said, “Recruiters adapted well, conducting online assessments and interviews through platforms like Zoom and Google Meet. While some in-person processes were postponed, we still managed excellent placements. We’re also running upskilling programs and planning untargeted drives over the next two months to benefit more students.”
