Srikanth Vadikicharla, a proud alumnus of the MSc Biochemistry program (2018-2020) from the School of Life Sciences, University of Hyderabad (UoH), has been making waves in the agrifood-tech industry. As the Founder & CEO of Refarmsoil, he is driving innovation in climate-smart sweetener technology and has recently received recognition on national and global platforms.
His work has been recognized as an APAC Top Startup Finalist at the Global Food Tech Awards 2025, and he has received the United Nations Sustainable Development Award, Telangana Government Best Startup Recognition, and invitations to GITEX Global Dubai and NABARD Exhibitor.
These achievements are a testament to the strong biochemical foundation, research exposure, and global perspective he received at the University of Hyderabad. His time at UoH shaped his thinking, gave him scientific curiosity, and instilled the confidence to innovate at an international scale.
