The University of Hyderabad’s Mizo Alumni and Mizo Post Graduate Students’ Union (MPGSU) came together to spread cheer and make a difference in the lives of three underprivileged families this Christmas.
The Annual Charity Ride on December 19, 2025, raised an impressive ₹94,200, which was distributed equally among the beneficiary families facing health-related challenges.
This heartwarming initiative, now in its sixth edition, showcases the compassion and solidarity of the UoH community. Kudos to the Mizo Alumni and MPGSU for their tireless efforts in making this event a success!
The University of Hyderabad has approximately 150 registered Mizo alumni, along with 25 students (8 Ph.D, 13 MA and 4 IMA) and one faculty member at present. The MPGSU and Alumni Charity Ride is a long-standing year-end tradition, with the 2025 event marking the sixth edition of this charitable initiative
