We’re deeply saddened by the passing of R. Jayaprakash Naik, a bright mind and cherished member of the Centre for Earth, Ocean, and Atmospheric Sciences (CEOAS) family at University of Hyderabad on December 3, 2025 at his native place near Kurnool due to a critical illness. His untimely departure has left us in grief and disbelief. Mr. Jayaprakash completed his IMSc (Applied Geology) at CEOAS and was pursuing his PhD under the guidance of Dr Devleena Mani Tiwari.
Jayaprakash, you may be gone, but your memory will forever be etched in our hearts. Your dedication to your research and your passion for learning will continue to inspire us.
