Bharti Kotarya, a PMRF Fellow and Ph.D. scholar, working under the supervision of Prof. K.P.M.S.V. Padmasree, at the Department of Biotechnology and Bioinformatics, School of Life Sciences, University of Hyderabad (UoH), presented her research work at the National Symposium on Technological Advancements: Emerging Trends in Entomology, held from October 08–09, 2025, and organized by the Division of Entomology, Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences and Technology of Kashmir (SKUAST-K), Srinagar, in collaboration with the Entomological Society of India (ESI).

She was awarded the Best Oral Presentation Award for the quality and significance of her research.
