The Dean Students’ Welfare in coordination with the NSS Coordinator and Volunteers had a briefing session on the DIGITAL FINANCIAL LITERACY CAMPAIGN on December 14, 2016. The volunteers were given necessary instructions for the campaign. They were provided with necessary pamphlets and incidental expenses to carry out their assigned tasks.
After the meeting on 14th December 2016 at the DSW office on Vittya Saksharata Abhiyan, immediately the NSS Coordinator sat with the volunteers and prepared plan of action for VISAKA Digital Financial Literacy Campaign for various locations in and around the campus. Accordingly, three groups with minimum five NSS volunteers in each group with total 15 NSS volunteers were put into action.
The schedule and location for each group for the campaign is as follows:
Groups-1, led by Mr. Kumba Mahesh, covered outside the university including malls, markets, small vendors, tea shops etc. located from Ashok Nagar to Gachibowli.
Group-2, led by Mr. Y. Praveen Kumar, covered our adopted five villages in Tellapur panchayat. This group covered households, kirana shops, school premises, panchayat office located in these villages.
