Prof. Chetan Srivastava, Director, Office for International Affairs, University of Hyderabad, was invited by the Palamuru University, Mahabubnagar as a “KEYNOTE SPEAKER” at the Inaugural Session of the Two-Day National Conference on “Digital Marketing – impact on HR and Financial Services”, 29th- 30th January, 2024, organized by the Department of Business Management, Palamuru University. He also released the Souvenir and a Book on this occasion along with the Registrar Prof. K. Girija Mangathayaru, who happens to be a proud alumnus of University of Hyderabad.
In his Inaugural Address, Prof. Chetan Srivastava, said that it was like *Home Coming (Ghar Wapsi) * for him, to be in Mahabubnagar, as he had my middle school education in Mahabubnagar, where he had lot of fond childhood memories and his Mother Smt. Premlata Saxena (recently left for Heaven) who was the Honorary Director, Social Welfare Hostels, Mahabubnagar and a Professor at NTR Degree College for Women, Mahabubnagar.
He spoke on the role of Digital Marketing and India’s contribution starting from ‘0 (ZERO)’, how the “Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam” – the philosophy of the whole world is a family, has put India on the Global Map. He spoke on the importance of “Hi-Touch” in this “Hi-Tech” digital world. The connect to the Customers, both external and internal, creates success and how the digital media, technology and communication can leverage the growth, reach and profitabilities,
Prof. Chetan Srivastava, in his “KEYNOTE ADDRESS” spoke on “Digital Marketing – impact on HR and Financial Services “, where he highlighted the need to take the use the Digital Platform to leverage the Marketing, and elaborated on the varied services which are being impacted by the Digital Marketing, with a special reference to the HR and Financial Services.
Prof. Srivastava emphasized on the need to get conversant with the digital technologies and digital platforms, which can be used as tools for bringing in the effectiveness in the existing functional areas of management and services, creating a Win-Win situation for all the stakeholders.
Prof. Srivastava, while giving his KEYNOTE ADDRESS, elaborated on the varied aspects of Digital Marketing, the issues, challenges, the opportunities, the pitfalls, the infrastructure requirements, just not the e-enabling the Marketing. He said that one has to focus on the basis fundamental marketing strategies, the only difference would be harnessing the potential of the Digital Revolution and innovative Digital Tools and Technologies to be more effective than earlier times. Prof. Chetan Srivastava said that Digital Marketing has a very broad scope and is just not limited to Content Marketing, Search Engine Optimization (SEO), Search Engine Marketing (SEM), Social Media Marketing (SMM) etc. Over 300+ Management, Commerce Teachers, Research Scholars and Management Students across the Country participated in this Two-Day National Conference. After the Inaugural Address, Prof.Chetan Srivastava was felicitated by the organizers.
