We’re thrilled to announce that Dr. Vamsi Chaitanya Pedasanaganti, a proud alumnus of the MA Communication program (2017-2019) at the University of Hyderabad, has joined Kean University in Union, New Jersey, as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Communication, Media and Journalism.

Dr. Vamsi will be teaching courses on News Literacy and advising the student newspaper, The Tower, in the Fall semester. In the next semester, he’ll continue his role with The Tower while teaching Research Methods and other rotating courses.
Dr. Vamsi recently earned his Ph.D. in Communication from Bowling Green State University (2020-2024), marking a significant milestone in his academic journey.
